3. See the Trafalgar Square Christmas tree
Given every year by Norway as a gift to the people of London (as thanks for support in World War II), the Christmas tree in Trafalgar Square is a must-see! The lights are always a spectacle, and you can catch some carol singing by the tree from 9-22 December.

4. Spend a few hours in Hyde Park’s Winter Wonderland
Hyde Park is transformed into Winter Wonderland during the Christmas season, and it’s free to enter and enjoy the festive atmosphere for yourself! You can wander around the park and take in over 200 wooden chalets selling festive goods and decorations, perhaps stopping off at one of the bars or cafes to enjoy a glass of mulled wine and a mince pie.
