Carnival or celebrations are the sign of festive season to carry out bursting merriments along the streets dressing in bizarre dresses and masquerades to enjoy public gathering. Most of the catholic countries and communities arrange these festivals in different parts of the world to celebrate the happy sensation after the harvesting season.

All the carnivals take place in different times at different countries. Wearing fancy and character costumes, participating in parade, dancing and singing, waving banners and trimmings, beating brass bands and elaborated vehicles are the main essence of these carnivals which attract huge number of visitors from all over the globe.

Rio Carnival – Brazil

The grandest and most admired carnival of the all takes place from 13 February to 16 February at Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Million of travelers reach Brazil just to see this most thrilling carnival composed of countless people wearing colorful costumes marching on the street, brass drum making them move their feet in rhythm, bashing street parties, masquerade events and the magnificent parade of Samba schools. All samba schools participate in this parade to win the crown for best parade from the rest. Therefore, you can have lots of attractions to have fun with fascinating dances and breathtaking sites.

Venice Carnival – Italy

Venice has been famous for its romantic layout and environment but it also contains something more than that to draw the attention of tourists. The carnival starts from 5th to 16th February. This ancient carnival has been started since 1216 and is the most exciting event of winters in Venice. Colorful crafted masks are worn by every one through the carnival and have become the iconic symbol of this romantic city. You can witness the spontaneous dance performances and shows in the streets by local bands and citizens that carry a remarkable character.

Mardi Gras – USA

The exclusive event of Mardi gras has been introduced initially by the Spanish settles at New Orleans, USA. It starts from 12th night or Feast of Epiphany and after the grand celebrations of a whole month on Fat Tuesday. Winterlude Festival – Canada

To experience the huge festivity with unique temptation of ice-skating you need to attend the fascinating carnival (5-21 February) that entails various activities and attraction of winter season. The 9-kilometer skating lane offers you to have fun and enjoyments during the whole carnival. Paris Carnival – France

The carnival of Paris has its root dating back at the festival of fools. This carnival is less crowded and fussed but still attracts quite a number of visitors. The whole carnival span on a single day with the parade that gathered around the Promenade du Bouef Gras. Tremendous participants show their funky vivid costumes, enjoying on the beat of drums and make the atmosphere magical.
