Albufeira – major tourist destination in Algarve with amazing beaches and golden sun
The quaint little fishing village of Albufeira is a great place to visit if you are looking for some serious rest and relaxation under the golden sun. The area is surrounded by a number of beaches that offer some of the most postcard perfect views of the Atlantic coastline imaginable. There are three major beaches right in the city center as well as a multitude of more secluded locations just outside of town to choose from; like the Salgados lagoon which lies just outside of town.

The streets are lined with cafes and restaurants where you can get a taste of the local delicacies. But the real action happens in the area that is known simply as the strip. It is the home to some of the most famous bars and nightclubs in Algarve.
