This year we decided to visit one of the popular cities in Spain, Barcelona for our vacations. This city has gained a lot of popularity for the people’s craze for football and bull fight. However, it has been renowned as the city of architectures as there are many buildings and structures that are perfect examples of different architectural styles belonging to different periods. Most of them are designated as heritage sites by UNESCO. We planned a family trip to this city which is also the second largest city of Spain.
When we planned this trip with our two children, we really wanted to make it a memorable one. Budget was a major constraint when making bookings. For this reason, we started looking for cheap tickets to Barcelona. We contacted travel operators for the tickets and finally with the help of a friend we have managed to buy plane tickets to this wonderful destination.

This destination is also famous for various trade fares and cultural events and such programs and since I am quite interested in these things, I decided to visit some of such events during my stay in the city. When we reached this city, we found a large number of tourists coming here through prominent airlines like Air Canada, US Airways etc.

As mentioned earlier, the main attractions in the city were the structures that exhibited the excellence in architecture. There are many sites designed by the great architects such as Antoni Gaudi and Lluis Domenech Montaner. Most of these buildings are designated as heritage sites by UNESCO.
All of us enjoyed the beauty of these architectural marvels. Kids now wanted to visit such places where they could play different games or enjoy rides in adventure parks. There are places in the city where children cqn also enjoy. The city houses about sixty five parks and in these beautifully landscaped parks, there are facilities for children to indulge in different activities.
Montjuic is the largest park in the city and it is located on a hill top. This gave us a chance for trekking too. There are five or six theme parks where children can enjoy a wide spectrum of activities and indulge in funny things including some water games.
All such parks are beautifully maintained and are safe for the children. Since cheap tickets to this city are available readily, many tourists were seen at these theme parks. Several flights to Barcelona ply their services to this city due to increase in the number of people coming here.
There are three amazing beaches in the city that are listed in the top-ten list of beaches in cities in the world. Barceloneta and Sant Sabastia are the largest and oldest beaches in Spain. We visited these beaches and had a great time. We also enjoyed a nice sea bath at each beach. We decided to visit this destination again using cheap flights to Barcelona.
