Blenheim Palace – World Heritage site with ancient water fountains
Blenheim Palace is a historic site that sits in the midst of a romantic type park which is famous for its garden work and ancient water fountains. The English nation had presented it to John Churchill whom was the first Duke of Marlborough in the victory that was won in 1704 with the French and the Bavarians.
It was built from 1705-1722 and has a very unique style compared to many of the other palaces that are located close by. It is a great example of an 18th century palace construction.
