Costa Barcelona – a paradise on earth

Located in Cataluña, the 100kms coastline stretch of Costa Barcelona is simply a paradise on earth. The region is characterized by the Mediterranean Coast and Cosmopolitan air, the cordiality and hospitality of local community and emblematic monuments which makes Costa Barcelona a must visit destination in Spain.

The famous Barcelona is the capital city of Cataluña and is situated on the northeastern side of Iberian Peninsula where the Mediterranean Sea bathes it all day and night. On its northern side is Lleida and Gerona and the southern is occupied by Tarragona.

The region comprises of 10 districts. Ciutat Vella is essentially the main district in the region and it is home to the born and Gothic areas. El Raval is a highly adventurous place in Costa Barcelona and Santa Les Corts and Gracia are other notable districts as well. The region enjoys a Mediterranean like climate which makes it a top visitor’s travel area. In addition, Costa Barcelona also has extremely beautiful streets in the cities, it houses the popular Sagrada Familia along side its beautiful beaches and parks as well as the modern built stadiums. The sporting facilities like football stadiums dates back to the all time famous Olympics that were held here back in 1992. A good example of these stadiums includes the Olympic stadium and Palau Sant Jordi. There are also ports such as Port Maritim and the famous old port of Barcelona – Port Vell.

The cities in Costa Barcelona are full of bars and restaurants where you can enjoy an eventful nightlife. There are also numerous shops for your shopping expeditions and you can get cheap souvenirs and clothes. The numerous attractions are an indicator that a holiday in Costa Barcelona will leave you the happiest person on earth.
