When translated, Costa Brava means the wild coast in Catalan language and it is part of the larger Catalonia province of Girona. Unlike the nightlife in other Costas that are wildly crazy, night life in Costa Brava is very joyful and peaceful. You can eat and drink in one of the many restaurants and cafes that are nicely lined up along the sandy beaches. Here, you are assured of a classic dining experience with the various beachside clubs providing great cocktails. The most preferred way of dining in Costa Brava is Al Fresco and one of the most popular and loved dish is Paella and is served in almost every part in Spain. Just like in most other parts in Spain, eating is usually in the late hours of night.

Costa Brava offers fantastic places for shopping passionate. You can shop in some of the big shopping areas and bazaars in the region. These include Torroella de Montgrí, Olot and Girona shopping areas. You can also get big brands from Barcelona located just next door.
