When you hear ‘’, you probably immediately think ‘party’ and you’d be right – it’s described as ‘unapologetically fun’. Situated just 14km from Rhodes town on the beautiful island, it’s the party resort of the island famous for being particularly popular with the Club 18-30s crowd.
Faliraki boasts an impressive 5km of sand. The area is packed with fun-seeking holidaymakers of all ages by day and night. Daytime will find the beach packed with thrill-seekers indulging in a bit of water skiing, paragliding or any of the other exciting activities on offer. The more sedate tourist can enjoy some quality sunbathing.
Die Bucht von Faliraki
Away from the beach, hundreds of visitors can be found splashing around at Faliraki Water Park, which is the biggest of its type in Europe. At night, the streets are crowded with partygoers spilling in and out of the numerous bars and nightclubs.
Faliraki used to be famous for all the wrong reasons but the local authorities issued a clamp down on naughty behaviour which has made it a more suitable destination for families as well as the fun-loving 18-30s.

The centre of Faliraki is stocked more with fast food restaurants than authentic Greek cuisine so if you’re after something a bit more traditional, you will need to travel a little bit further out.
If you tire of lounging on the beach, you can while away a few hours browsing the little gift shops throughout Faliraki. These are the ideal places to pick up souvenirs and gifts to take home.
