Great Yarmouth is a highly sought after holiday destination for the entire family. There is literally something here to appeal to everyone whether you are young in age or simply young at heart.

Long sandy beaches, roller coasters, sail boats, seaside pubs, shopping, quiet countryside, and a busy nightlife are waiting for you to discover and enjoy.

For the beach lovers, there is 15 miles of clean sandy beaches where the children can build huge sand castles and hunt for seashells while the adults relax, soaking up the warm sun while reading a book or taking a much needed nap. The water temperature can be a bit on the cool side, but that doesn’t stop the surfers from enjoying hour after hour of nice breaking waves. When the children grow tired of playing in the sand, they can jump until their hearts content in bouncy castles or take a ride on a donkey. Older children and adults can get their adrenaline pumping on a wild roller coaster ride.

The Golden Mile is a must see for anyone who loves to be in the midst of all the hustle and bustle. This is where all the action is. The pavement is lined with cafes, shops, bars, tea-rooms, restaurants, attractions, golf, and bingo rooms. There is never a dull moment when exploring the Golden Mile.

Great Yarmouth is home to many seaside towns with breath-taking cliff top views, sleepy little villages hidden amongst sprawling hills, beautiful manicured gardens, and historic attractions.

The whole family can enjoy a day at the theme park, see leopards and tigers at Thrigby Hall Wildlife Gardens or feed the Alpaca’s at Pettitts. Kids and adults alike can get up close and personal to sharks, explore a shipwreck, learn about creepy crawly reptiles, or take a dip in a tropical pool.

Situated at the borders of Norfolk Broads National Park, makes this town very attractive when you decide to go on a tour to that park. For those that prefer to spend their day lounging around on a boat being rocked to sleep by the gentle waves, fishing, or sail boating, there’s plenty of that to do too.

After a long, busy day, it’s always nice to end the day with a nice casual walk on the beach or down a quiet country road, listening to the waves or the crickets, stealing a quick kiss from a loved one under the starry skies – Great Yarmouth really does have it all!

This area of the United Kingdom has so much to offer that it will keep you coming back for more year after year.
