The Hainich National Park is truly a place that its visitors won’t forget. It’s located in the area of Thuringia and it has several beech forests trees which dominate the area. The area was once used by those that were in the military but it is now reserved as a national park.

The land is so diverse and there are lots of old dead trees which have toppled over only to have their only personal stories behind the reason they have fallen. Some organisms can be discovered as well while exploring the grounds like lichen, insects, moss, and fungi. Since the forest was rarely touched or interrupted by man, there is lots of different wild life that still remains and continue to live throughout the woods.

The towns have a lot of cultural history that visitors are able to learn more about and it is definitely something that you don’t want to miss.
