At the Jasmund National Park, the visitors are known to be very diverse. People come from both near and far just to visit this National Park. Although it is known to be Germany’s smallest national park it is still very popular.

Here, people will experience a variety of different types of land, ranging from marshes with chalky land, to the wetlands, and lands that are dry with some grass on them.

The chalk cliffs are most popular with tourists. They run along the border of the sea, and have greenery on them towards the top; they are huge and great part of the island to view for the tourists.

Jasmund National Park also has beech forests that have been here since the 13th century. These forests are situated on the Stubnitz plateau that consists mostly of chalk land. This land was formed during the time of Ice Age.

The tallest cliff in Jasmund is the Konigsstuhl, the whole coast is 10 kilometres long and 117 metres tall.

It is really amazing for most people to see it. This cliff is the main highlight of the destination and many tourists cannot resist taking photos of it.

When visitors are on the beach they will notice the chalk; which is what is used for writing on chalk boards, and sediment fossils along the beach.

To take tourists to a variety of different destinations in Jasmund there are several tour guides available.

Tourists can choose to use cycles to get around the destination area or they can walk. There are usually seminars where visitors are offered different options for travelling around the land.

The fauna and flora can be found all throughout different areas of Jasmund National Park, and chalk reefs can be discovered there as well as the sea eagle, a rare and much appreciated animal.

Keep in mind that the chalk landscape area is not the only one that is available for people to explore.

Mythical attractions are also available for people to tour with a tour guide. The park is responsible for scheduling many tours on a variety of different themes, including the Germanic goddess, Hertha, and Stortebecker whose tale is discussed about buried treasure that he had hidden in Jasmund.

There are also some other cultural attractions; on being Granitz Hunting Lodge which is located south of Binz. Rasender Roland is there as well.

There are many more other fun attractions available to visit while in Jasmund National Park.
