The first river bank national park in Germany is Lower Oder Valley National Park (Nationalpark Unteres Odertal). There is about 63 kilometres of meadowland here. The riverbank holds a history of lots of scenery and there is lots of grass and some dry land as well. There is a large variety of different types of animals that reside here at this national park.

Visitors are able to get a good view of the various different types of birds as well as other species. One of the most common birds that can be spotted is a sea eagle. Some others are the aquatic warbler and the black stork. Beavers can be seen as well, building their dam homes in the river.

There are over 50+ different types of species that can be seen at the Lower Oder Valley National Park. The national park is known to be comfortable nesting grounds for birds that migrate there during the winter months. There are visitors that love coming to this national park from all across the world during all different times of the year. It is a beautiful place to visit and discover all seasons of the year.
