United Kingdom has some of the most beautiful places in Europe that can be explored in England, Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland. It is not possible to visit all of them in one life or even summarize them onto one short list.

But it can be useful to mention at least some of them so that you can choose the right place for your next trip around the UK.

The Whiteless Pike located in Lake District has a tiny peaking summit that overlooks down the loose bearing and stones of obelisk.

The perpendicular slopes increase the view of the foreground, which accommodates the fine promise of Scafells. The Western Fells and Helvellyn range are very well seen in the location of Whiteless Pike.

Hope Valley in Peak District, England

The Hope Valley in Peak District is a huge and wide valley stretching along the West-East boundaries between the boundaries of the ‘Dark Peak’, the grit stone moors, the prominence of limestone and the deep cut spout of the ‘White Peak’.

The Hope Valley is popularly known as the amazing walking country. It became the haven for tourists who enjoy outdoor activities like hang-gliding, trekking, biking, potholing, rock climbing or just simply walking along its quiet and peaceful trike.

Birdwatchers, artists and anglers may also enjoy this wonderful spot in Peak District.

Portmeirion in North Wales is very famous to tourist. It was built and designed by Sir Clough Williams-Ellis with an Italian Village in mind. Now, this village is owned by some charitable organization.

The Portmeirion village has been the reference of inspiration for television producers and writers. Noel Coward wrote blithe Spirite in the Fountain 2 suite.

Back in 1956, an architect named Frank Lloyd Wright stayed in the same village with famous people like Ingrid Bergman, Gregory Peck, Paul McCartney; musicians like Jools Holland who filmed a TV show entitled The Tube in Portmeirion.

Holland was so glad he inspired his studio in Blackheath in the image of Portmeirion Village.

Lake Windermere – the largest natural lake in England

Windermere is a civil parish and town in the South Lakeland of Cumbria, England. It is located just 1 kilometer away from Lake Windermere.

The name of the Windermere took its name from the lake back in 1847 when a railway line was built and the station was named “Windermere.”

Llanberis Pass, Snowdonia, Wales

Llanberis Pass is the most gradual yet the longest of the six paths leading to the peak of Snowdon.

It brings breathtaking views of Llanberis, Cwm Brwynog and on the Menai stretch leading to Anglesey.

The path to Llanberis is known to be the easiest to walk when there is good weather, however, the slopes becomes dangerous when winter starts.

A geological and remarkable feature can be experienced when you visit the Llanberis pass; it is called the syncline of Clogwyn Du’r Arddu.

Loch ness, Scottish Highlands, Scotland

Loch ness is a deep, freshwater and very large lake located in the Scottish Highlands. Loch ness became popular for gossiped sightings of the so-called Loch Ness Monster, which was named “Nessie” by locals.

All other lakes located in Scottish Highlands are interconnected with each other. The water clarity in Loch Ness is extremely low because of the high moss content from the soil surrounding the lake.

Polperro, Cornwall, England

Polperro is located just several miles from the sea coast of Looe. Protected from the damages of tide and time of the cliff ravine, there lies a bewitching clutter of cottages.

Each one of these cottages was known to be the work of art of a Cornish fisherman.

The main attraction of Polperro is the South West Coast Path that lets the tourists enjoy their day walks that starts in Dorset and ends in Somerset.

In addition, the Polperro Heritage Museum of Smuggling and Fishing is located also within the village.

The Museum displays the old way of fishing warehouse and several photos from the history of the village. Numerous pubs and restaurants were situated inside the village.

Glenfinnan, Scottish Highlands, Scotland

Glenfinnan village is in Lochaber side of the Highlands of Scotland. It is situated at the Northern part of Loch Shiel, which is at the end of Glenfinnan.

This tiny yet breathtaking village has been part of the Glen Finnan hills for more than a century now. Glenfinnan has a U-shaped valley, which follows a South-west to Northeast route.

The Royal Pavilion in Brighton, East Sussex, England

The Royal Pavilion has been the oriental fantasy of John Nash, who has been completely linked to the integrity of Brighton.

The village has become famous for its architectural images in the whole world. The pavilion was accepted as a monument to finesse, pleasure, technological excellence and above all style.

It is still unbeatable in its gigantic ambition and remarkable sense of joie de vivre.
