Everyone who chooses to visit Paris has one main destination in mind and that is the Eiffel Tower. Every year, millions of visitors from around the globe visit this amazing structure but only a few actually venture up to the observation deck.
Next to the Eiffel Tower, the next spot to visit has got to be the Arc de Triomph. This amazing piece of culture and architecture stands over 324 meter high. It was built back in 1806 by Napoleon and can be found along the Seine River.
Let’s not forget the countless museums in Paris. The most popular of these is the Centre Georges Pompidou. It is Europe’s largest museum and houses more than 40,000 works of art. Simply visiting this museum and seeing the entire place in a single day may not be possible, but if all you have is a day, then make sure you plan accordingly.
Speaking of museums, you can’t visit Paris without visiting the Louvre. The Louvre is probably the most notable of all museums in France, or in Europe for that matter. Some of the world’s most remarkable and priceless works of art can be found there.

And of course, who hasn’t heard of the Notre Dame cathedral. Just hearing the name makes people think of the Hunchback and so many other great tales of the era. The south tower of the cathedral features 300 stairs which you can climb and get a breathtaking view of the surrounding areas.
You may need a few weeks just to see all of the major destinations in Paris, France; but you will need years to see everything this city has to offer you.
