In past times, Tenerife was perceived as a poor region whose land was mainly used for banana cultivation, yet the arrival of the European masses enhanced living standards and turned Tenerife into what it is today: an ideal place to enjoy your vacation along with friends and loved ones. The favorable weather conditions of Tenerife are also a plus for all tourists looking to benefit from the best of what Tenerife has to offer in terms of beaches.

The north side of the region is rich in local customs and traditions. The usual way to get to Tenerife is by air, but ferries are also a common means of transportation. Once you reach the island, it is advisable to get around by hiring a car or using one of the TITSA buses.

Some of the places worth visiting in Tenerife include the magnificent volcano known as El Teide; the area is accessible to tourists through cable lifting. You could also attempt hiking in Parque Rural de Anaga or pump up the adrenaline at the Karting Club, a place intended for motor bike racing. The picturesque parks and Lore Parque Zoo are also notable in terms of tourist attractions.
