Located in the Bangkok Metropolitan Region, Pak Kret makes for an excellent day trip away from the hustle and bustle of Thailand’s cosmopolitan capital. Just 20km away, you will find one of the country’s most authentic towns with its welcoming and serene charm still intact today. Explore the small island on Chao Phraya River or head around the town for some interesting temples and beautiful parks.

Ko Kret

This small island was formed artificially when a canal was excavated to bypass a meander in the Chao Phraya River. Today, seven villages dot the island’s landscape and daily ferries connect it to the mainland. You can tour around the island on a longtail boat or take a ferry to explore Ko Kret’s temples, its main market and various attractions.
